Vic Firth Airport Campaign

In order to promote new drum practice pads to traveling musicians, Vic Firth wanted to place ads in select airports in musical cities such as Nashville, Austin, and New York. The campaign directs musicians to drum stations in the airport to help entertain themselves during long layovers. The ads would be placed inside of in-flight magazines and on tray tables for maximum visibility.

Drum Stations

The drum stations would house the new practice pads for people to play on without making any loud noises. The ads use modified forms of the practice pads to give visual hints of what the drum stations will look like without showing images of the station itself. The stations would also have take aways for players that direct them to an online store for buying a practice pad for home use.
