Series of Perspective Studies
This series of graphite drawings explores the architectural work of Frank Lloyd Wright in one, two, and three-point perspective.
The Edward E. Boynton house interior, built in 1908, is drawn in one-point perspective and is highly symmetrical.
Wright's most famous house—Fallingwater—is drawn in two-point perspective. In the winter, the waterfall running under the house is frozen. The house was completed in 1964.
The drawing in three-point perspective shows the tallest section of the complex, which was completed in 1939.
