An “and” is just an “and”

Just and And is a series of promotional, typographic posters for a future project called Grand Ampersand. The posters take a series of ampersands designed created from the miniature poem—an “and” is just an “and”, but an ampersand is much more grand.

The posters deptict the evolution of the ampersand glyph from an extension of latin into the modern figure 8 style common in sans-serif typefaces.
