Min. Chair

Minimal Materials, Minimal Waste

When designing the Min. chair, the aim was to marry form and function as well as reduce the amount of materials wasted during the manufacturing process and the shipping process. The chair itself is made from layered veneers which produces less waste when harvesting the tree. Each chair is cut from a single piece of plywood to save material and keep the woodgrain consistent.

Economic Flat Pack

The flat design allows for minimal and efficient packaging, and with directions printed right on the box, the need for printed instruction booklets is eliminated. By showing the chair's full dimensions on the box at scale, the buyer can get a good feel for the size of the chair.
